From noodles so good people queue for them, to one of the biggest names in spas, Westfield Belconnen has unveiled some exciting new additions to their brand stable.
If you’re a north-sider, Westfield Belconnen is probably already one of your go-tos for shopping and eating—and the great news is, things are about to get a whole lot better. The center has welcomed seven new additions recently, with a couple of newbies still to come, plus an exciting new area for the kids.
Looking for the perfect antidote to the particularly chilly start to the season? You’ll find it in a piping bowl of deliciousness from 1919 Lanzhou Beef Noodle. The Chinese eatery caused much excitement and huge lines when it opened in Civic recently, and soon Canberra will get a second outlet, right in the Westfield Belconnen food court. Their secret soup recipe originated back in 1919, and all of their noodles are handmade in-store, and served with an aromatic beef soup. They’re opening soon—keep your eyes peeled for the launch date.
Don’t want to wait? You don’t have to for a relaxing treatment at the new Belconnen Endota Spa. Sitting on level 2 near Myer, you can book in for a massage, facial, wax, pedicure or everything in between, or take a bit of self-care home with you from their extensive selection of skincare and wellness products. After the full makeover treatment? Book in to have your tresses tamed at funky hairdresser and barber Moe & Co..
Westfield Belconnen has also welcomed two popular newcomers who have opened in the ACT for the very first time. Premium tattoo parlor Celebrity Ink Boasts a cult following as one of the world’s leading tattoo brands, and has opened right near Target on level 3. And also on level 3, Skin Kandy is a chic piercing studio, catering to everyone from first-timers getting their ears pierced, right through to helix piercings.
Also a first for the ACT is new store Stateside Sports, which will house the most epic hat wall in town, alongside their jumbo screen playing endless NBA games. Shop there for US sport jerseys, apparel and headwear, and premium American streetwear brands. And if your needs run more to the workplace, pop in to high-vis mecca WorkwearOutlet.
Other tasty additions are much-loved purveyors of bubble tea ShareTeaas well as spud-bar. You’ll be able to find their healthy loaded potatoes in the food court in the coming months.
And don’t forget about the kids. They have a brand new place to explore on level 1 at The Belconnen Summit. The brand new playground is suitable for kids aged 2-8 and was inspired by the local area and natural surrounds, with sensory boards, climbing equipment, tunnels, mounds, caves and slides.
For the grown-ups, there is padded seating and charging ports for while you wait. And on the first Saturday of every month, head into Westfield Belconnen for a free creative activity for the kids, and a free coffee for you. You just need to become a Westfield Plus member by downloading their app.
