From the outside, the $4,20,000 (Rs 3.2) crore property in Newtown, Pennsylvania looks like a tranquil homestead. It’s even more impressive from the inside with three huge bedrooms, a kitchen with wood detailing, and a living room with a fireplace.
But the property’s main staircase has an extra object that is not supposed to be there.

The listing, which comes from estate agent Bright MLS, describes the house as having ‘great bones’, according to a Metro.co.uk report.
“Centrally located in a desirable area, this home has great bones, lots of spaces for storage, multiple walk-up attics, a large workshop in the basement, a side apartment addition was added on, and an extra-large detached garage behind the home. Great spaces for workshops or storing equipment,” reads a part of the description.
The description added that the property has ‘fantastic storage’ capacity and it is being sold ‘as is’.
The bizarre listing went viral after it was spotted by some Redditors.
“I expected to see a small bathroom built underneath the stairs, not a toilet randomly installed in the middle of a staircase,” wrote a user.
