Officers said there are “no suspicious circumstances and no criminal offenses disclosed at this time”, and will allow the coroner to determine the cause of death.
Police were called to the West Beach boat ramp at 6am today after a member of the public reported two cars in the water.
Police taped off the entrance to the West Beach boat ramp as officers and forensic experts investigated the incident.
Meanwhile, State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers combed nearby sand dunes.
Police believe the cars entered the water sometime overnight.
West Beach is a seaside suburb of Adelaide, 20 minutes from the city.
