Verification of the man at a stop at the intersection of Shanly and Froom roads, north of Cardinal on the Seaway, determined the man was wanted on an unspecified warrant.

A search of the vehicle allegedly turned up a shotgun, ammunition, two extendable strike batons, brass knuckles, a radio used to intercept private communication and a quantity of suspected synthetic cannabinoid (an illegal street drug).

He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on Aug. 12.
