Orange County punk rockers Social Distortion will play its first show in three years on its home turf when it reaches the House of Blues in Anaheim on Nov. 29.
Before they get there, the band will also play a pair of shows at the Observatory North Park in San Diego Nov. 25-26.
In December, Social Distortion will return to the Observatory North Park for a show on Dec. 5, and later that month play the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles on Dec. 21.
The band, led by Mike Ness, last played Orange County in October 2019 when it celebrated its 40th anniversary at FivePoint Amphithheatre in Irvine with a single-day festival dubbed Sounds From Behind the Orange Curtain.
Social Distortion wrapped up its European tour last week and appears to have a break before returning to the road this fall. Or, actually, returning to the high seas: It’s next listed show is Outlaw Country West 2022, a cruise leaving the Port of Los Angeles on Nov. 3 and sailing to Cabo San Lucas before returning on Nov. 8.
Tickets for the House of Blues show in Anaheim start at $39.50 and go on sale at 10 am July 26 at LiveNation.com.
