Calling all ’90s kids: relive your childhood at a pop-up dedicated to everyone’s favorite snacks, featuring over 30 nostalgic cereals, Pop-Tarts, Hot Pockets, spaghetti jaffles and more.
Oh, to be a kid again. When mornings started with sugar-laden cereal instead of coffee, and after-school activities included frequent trips to the arcade for some street-fighter. missing it? A new pop-up at The District Docklands wants to take you back to your childhood – and connect with your own kids over those precious memories.
Throwback Lounge is taking you back to the ’90s over four weekends in August. Head straight for the cereal bar and try as many of the 30 nostalgic cereals as you can (it’s all-you-can-eat for just $39), or jump straight into the snacks with Pop-Tarts, Hot Pockets, piping hot spaghetti jaffles , mac’n’cheese and more.
There’ll also be Playstations, Wiis and Nintendo Switches set up with family-friendly video games, as well as old-school arcade games like Daytona, Mario Kart, Initial D and street-fighter.
The weekly schedule also includes a talent show (with a chance to win $1000), celebrity e-sports livestreams and a daytime music festival.
Fridays to Sundays from 12pm to 9pm.
