The company that operates the bus, Lady Dive Ottawa, specializes in guided tours of the National Capital region of Ottawa-Gatineau.

Lady Dive’s Facebook page advertises multilingual guided tours of Canada’s capital that “let you appreciate Ottawa’s historic scenery from every possible angle.

Etienne Cameron, the owner of Lady Dive Tours Ottawa said in an email that there were no passengers on board at the time of the crash.

“We do a morning check on our buses daily prior to doing any tours,” he said. “There were no injuries.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family do not live at the official residence, which is undergoing major renovations.

No road closures were announced.
