On June 22, 2022, officers with Patrol Services charged 43-year-old William Ross with weapon and drug offenses.
Around 4:00 am officers observed a vehicle parked at a business in the 800 block of Great Northern Road. Officers conducted a traffic stop. Officers approached the vehicle and the lone occupant identified as the accused. Officers discovered the accused was wanted for breach of probation and he was arrested on the strength of the warrant.
A subsequent search found the accused to be in possession of a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, a pellet gun, approximately 13.95 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, approximately 3.95 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl, approximately 7.56 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine and several bank cards and identification cards which were determined to have been stolen. The estimated street value of the narcotics seized is $4,100.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing, and subsequently remanded into custody with a scheduled court date of July 7, 2022.
